I don't know who told you that, but they were smoking crack! Clean what out? Octane is strictly the fuels resistance to detonation. You need a higher octane in our cars especially with more boost than stock!!!

Highway runs require no driver skill at all... Redline and shift! Go from a dig. I'd run you from a dig but I already beat you on the highway by a lot. I have street tires and stock suspension so I'm not "setup" for dig racing either. But it requires WAY more skill on the drivers part.


EDIT: Get your car dyno tunned before you blow it up!!!

Well... It spools up maybe a second faster, but the rest is going to rely heavily on my footbraking before I get on the transbrake. I have a proportioning valve that I'm going to put on the car and see if I can't bias the brakes to where the fronts wont slide through the beams.

I'm not sure what I'm bringing or if I'm even coming. It sounds like there wont be much there in the category for me to race. Any LS1's coming that think they are god's gift to cars? Maybe I can make $50 or so.. :D
