They opened a new course over here called Stone Creek in Ocala, FL. Very nice and their summer special rate is only $20! Course is nicer than some of the $100 courses I have played over here...anyway, shot my best score ever today...a 65. Everything was clicking today and I made a lot of putts. I have the golf fever again...problem is, I will go play again tomorrow and shoot my usual 76-78! :(

Just kidding, I swear. 65 is goin low for sure. Maybe you will break 70 again tomorrow. My lowest score ever is 75 and I have shot that number many times, just never had a 74 :mad: Last time I shot 75, I shot 76 the next day. Usually though, my expectations are raised and I put up a mid 80's number.

If I had a game like you, I'd probably play in some big time am events. Florida State Am maybe for you?

Went to the beach today so I didnt disappoint myself on the course! :D I have not played in any amateur events as I havent busted par in a long time...I stay around 76-78 which I am happy with. Requires too much time and energy to maintain your game at that level.

You should have played today. You might have gone low again and if you went high 70's, you could have posted on here to make us scrappers feel better. :D

Congrats on the best score! I'd be stoked as well. I can't seem to get below 70 as for my short game sucks balls. No matter how much I practice I can't seem to read the greens or get my ball speed down. As weird as it may sound, I play better when I don't care. Whenever I try to focus too much or my heads out of it I almost always play like shit. Keep your care-free attitude going and don't try to shoot 65 again, just play.

Oh BTW, congrats on the pregnancy. It is a life changing event for sure. You immediately have a person that you would die for without question. Here are my two boys the other day...
