View Full Version : Will T. Glenn get cut?

Seems he doesn't want to sign the injury waiver...What do you think the cowboys will do with him? I think the best thing he could do is sign it. It's not like he didn't get paid last season for doing absolutely nothing! I don't think he'll be anywhere near as productive as he was before even if he does come back. I say he gets cut and I'm sure he knows NO team will take a chance with him..

They should probably toss him, another injury and he's probably out of the game for life

With out him we may be in some trouble but he is getting old and not reliable cut him find someone else as a short term fix.

How do you figure? The 'boys did real good last season without him. What makes you think they won't be as productive this year with even more talent?

They are going to cut him. There's no way that Jerry is going to let up on his Word to pay Glen full salary. He did it all last year and got nothing in return.

Because the Cowboys didn't address our receiver situation at all last year. And really, come on. We have two good receivers. Witten, and TO. Crayton sucks and talks a lot of shit, with no talent to back it up.

They need to address it. Problem is, nobody worth having is out there. We are positioned to take a top receiver or two in next year's draft/offseason, however.

I think you are partially correct! The thing is, all we need is T.O's presence out there on the field to create attraction and let the small guys make some plays. Plus we have 3 young receivers that COULD potentially become very good. I have my money on either Stanback or Austin. The 'boys ground game should be real real good this year!

Wrong. How'd that work out for Crayton in the playoffs. Take all the time you need on that.

Yes, having TO is a distraction. What I want, though, is another super star reciever on the other side of the field. It's become obvious that is the way things are heading. Two back systems, and five receiver sets.

True, but the cowboys ground game suffered for not having a back up for barber since he tired after the first half. The 'boys running games was excellent in the first half. They can now complement the passing game with the running game alot more than they did last season...I still think the young receiver we already have are gonna step up and take craytons spot...

i think some of the reason we didnt address the WR position is because, look who was out there to get- r.williams-ok but if we wait a year hes a free agent. boldin-idk if he was really on the block till now, with this whole contract situation coming up. Johnson- now i think we should have went after him. but then the question would arise can TO and Cinco coexist?

now as far as young talent we have- stanbeck-im not sold on college qb's being a nfl wr. but obviously the scouting dept and coaches love him and see potential?

m.bradford-small school stud with all the measurables

lets not forget either that i would like to see what hurd could do also.he reminds a lot like irvin (has passion).

dont really seeing this being anything- our WR corps did not need Glenn out there last yr.

sniderboys23
06-18-2008, 10:27 PM
also the Romo was not to blame for the playoof loss. see our O-Line on this one. the Giants D-Line was possessed thru the playoffs and the biggest reason they are super bowl champs.

I honestly think Ocho and TO would feed off of each other. Help each other, by friendly competition between the two. We'll never know though. I think too many decision makers think there will be too many problems with them co existing.

I halfway agree with you about who was available. However, I think Dallas having no room under the salary cap to sign anyone had more to do with the Cowboys not pursuing a star receiver than anything else.

I don't agree with that. I think we are severely lacking another star receiver. But, that's just me.

I don't know if someone already mentioned this, but Barber did not tire after the 2nd half. The Giants put 8 men in the box and forced the cowboys to throw. Thats why his production went down the 2nd quarter. I can't wait to see Felix and Barber in the backfield

About the WR spot, from what I hear Austin is lighting it up at OTA's. Lets just hope he gets rid of the butterfingers and produces this year, hes a very quick runner. Hurd also is a bad ass and I think could be like Crayton without the shit talking in the future
