That's too bad. Don't matter how much money he has, his knee will NEVER be the same.

it's amazing that he could win the us open even though he was in so much pain. i can't stand playing golf when i'm just sore (much less hurt), because you automatically try to adjust your swing to keep from hurting, which usually makes me hook the crap out of the ball. for him to hit it as well as he did, he must've been just dealing with the pain and not adjusting his swing...that had to be tough. in golf, a right hander ends up with about 80% or more of his weight on his left leg at the end of a swing...and that's the one that he's having trouble with.
Tiger ~ God
when is Paul Pierce having reconstructive surgery to repair his knee after being carried off the court and wheelchaired to locker room? that's right, he's not, because he was playing it up for the crowd to build his false legend, meanwhile bailing on his team. on the other hand you have Tiger, immensely wealthy with no reason to play on other than "I don't lose" mentality. the man is unbelievable, I will greatly miss watching him play this summer.

From what I have read, he would have had to have the surgery anyway but maybe not quite as soon. It would suck if injuries somehow shorten his career or impact his accomplishments. It would remind me somewhat of Mickey Mantle's career and how injuries (knee) changed everything.

Your right about that. Only a "big fucking cry baby bitch" would go out and play golf with a ruptured ACL and TWO stress fractures of his Tibia. It takes a complete bitch to walk 22 miles with these injuries and win the fucking US OPEN.

Because steroids would help you in a game of skill how? It doesn't matter how far you hit the ball if it lands in the ruff.

LOL at Mickelson saying he hopes Tiger makes a full recovery and cant wait to compete against him again......BULLSHIT right there.
If fact all the golfers have to be glad he is out, now maybe they have a chance at winning some big tournys this year.

Well, it won't be the same, but I guarantee you it will be the best knee money can buy.
