I also checked the plugs and one of them was loose too, so just went ahead and changed them for some new tr6's that Aaron gave me a good deal on. ;)

When I took my plugs out and gapped them correctly it felt WAY stronger but it might have been all in my head. You and I should run sometime at the track. You should win, but I'd like to see where I stand against some other cobras

Man oh, man.

We got the pinion snubber and trans mount installed last night as well as some new custom seats. (Thanks to Skidmark)

The trans mount and pinion snubber didnt take long, about an hour, with more cigarette breaks than anything.

The seats took better half of the night. We had to drill in new brackets because the ones that came with seat would fit, the stock ones wouldnt line up, blah blah blah.

Anyways, after countless hours and with help from Skidmark everything got completed. Not to mention the seats look fucking bad ass and my drive shaft no longer rubs. However, i have this fairly annoying tapping noise from the pinion snubber hitting third member.

We got the pinion snubber and trans mount installed last night as well as some new custom seats. (Thanks to Skidmark)

The trans mount and pinion snubber didnt take long, about an hour, with more cigarette breaks than anything.

It doesnt rub on the drive shaft anymore which is excellent news. However, the pinion snubber is kissing the third member like a mother fucker. I checked the clearance when the car was empty with no one in it and there was about an 1/8th of clearance. This is with the pinion snubber all the way up "shortened".

The old transmission mount was shot more than i thought also. When comparing it to the old mount and noticing it in my shifter inside the car is longer.


EDIT:

We also made changes to the clutch cable and we found out the problem, possibly....

The bolt that is attached to the cable is hitting the header and starting to angle out causing un-wanted pressure. I was able to loosen it enough so there a little play in the pedal, but i will have to tackle that another day.

Yeah just riding around its bouncing off the snubber. I tried checking the clearance between the snubber and where the driveshaft hits but it was to hard to tell with the car on the ground with exhaust and what not.

I really didnt get on it when i took it for a spin due to me being a pussy and afraid of damaging clutch, but i couldnt tell if it was hooking as it should...
