Vindication for the 2006 Mavs and 2002 Sacramento Kings as well as any other team not mentioned.

I knew it was the refs and not the athletes. I was surprised to learn that the NBA head office was involved as well. But not too surprised. I think it's funny how Donaghy only said it was in 2002. yeah right. Cuban was right when he said that it was rigged behind the scenes that made him want to sell the team in 2006. Stern is trying to deny anything, but if Donaghy is being investigated by the FBI, the last thing he would want to do is lie and get into deeper shit. What would he have to gain by telling lies about Stern and the NBA head office. Given the seriousness of the situation there is no way the Donaghy is lying.
In referring to this part:
In one of several allegations of corrupt refereeing, Donaghy said he learned in May 2002 that two referees known as “company men” were working a best-of-seven series in which “Team 5” was leading 3-2. In the sixth game, he alleged they purposely ignored fouls made by opponent “Team 6” and made phantom calls putting its players at the free-throw line.
“Team 6” won the game and came back to win the series, the letter said
That was the western conference finals, and of all the teams...go figure:
L.A. Lakers 4, Sacramento 3
May 18: Sat., L.A. Lakers 106 at Sacramento 99
May 20: Mon., L.A. Lakers 90 at Sacramento 96
May 24: Fri., Sacramento 103 at L.A. Lakers 90
May 26: Sun., Sacramento 99 at L.A. Lakers 100
May 28: Tue., L.A. Lakers 91 at Sacramento 92
May 31: Fri., Sacramento 102 at L.A. Lakers 106
June 2: Sun., L.A. Lakers 112 at Sacramento 106*
