I had to hit the brakes at a very high rate of speed keeping up with a buddy and about 40 vettes and I warped the hell out of my rotors. I have to white knuckle the wheel past 80 unless i'm under hard acceleration :( That and I have a cracked hose that I need to and will replace. It isn't leaking yet, but it's the cooling hose going to the engine. We were in mexico during this by the way. It's a rude awakening finding out that your "fast car" is in fact slow :o

I know what you mean. I dropped about 2k on heads that it didn't really need, I just wanted ones that would allow it to perform like I knew it should. Then add on the new R/R for the 7/16 studs, the head studs, gaskets..... and on and on and on.

Lets not forget about having to rebuild the trac-loc, and replace the intake gaskets after i blew those out. it never fricking ends.

I have no problem taggin along and watching. And I don't have a problem with the occasional vette pulling up next to me on 121 and doing something quick on the way to work but this roll shit is weak!!!

I've ran from a dig on the street with bald kumho's spinning my ass off and wheel hopping and still enjoyed it better than highway runs. I still have street tires and I still spin. Highway runs are to find out which car is faster, I'd rather find out who's the better driver. There's nothing like beating a car with 150 more rwhp than you knowing that on a roll race they would have probably beat you... :D Fuck this highway bullshit!!!!!
