Man this guy needs to hire a driver, he just got popped for DUI. His 4th run in with the police in Central Texas over the years. This is his seconds arrest in 5 weeks.

He needs to be in prison. Obviously, he isn't getting it from wrist slaps.

Instead of going to the CFL after his stint in the NFL is over he should go play here. (http://www.bettyfordcenter.org/admissions/index.php?gclid=CLP35qWp5ZMCFQqdnAod_n1cVQ)

Well, Pacman's arrests have been a bit more serious, but hasn't Benson been arrested more times total now?

don't know. But since Pacman has been drafted, hasn't he been arrested like 5 times?

I thought it was 3, but I'm not all up to date on Pacman's arrest record. :) So I could be totally wrong there.

yep, and it does not help when the cops bust you with drugs in high school and turn their back, kind of gives you the idea you can get away with anything.

Would never work. They don't want any parts of another Texas running back.

i heard on the news that he rufused a breath test so that's why he was arrested. If the didn't give him a test then how in the hell can he be charged with a DWI?

Do you think the draftability of texas players has dropped a little in the last year? You've got current players who have been in drug/drinking problems, former player/nfl players in drug/drinking problems, and the "Quarterback Jebus" admitting to wanting to quit the NFL.

NFL scouts are gonna have to give Mack Brown a slap across the face when he say's "oh no, he'll be fine".

Normally your UT posts are filled with blind Aggie glasses on but I think you actually made a very solid post here. I don't think it will hurt atheletes that are top tier as much but maybe the tier right under that.

Could you imagine Cedric Benson & Ricky Williams in the same backfield for a CFL team. It would certainly take that team to a "higher" level. :p

Overall I doubt it will have an impact on UT players overall. The only thing I could see is teams being more reluctant to take a running back from the Horns.
