Rented this over the weekend, and Sweet Christ, I thought Saving Private Ryan took the cake for Hollywood war carnage - this movie totally raised the bar. The barbaric realism of its battle scenes have to be seen to be believed - heads and limbs flying, heads exploding, blood and guts everywhere.
Yeah I know it wasn't the greatest flick in the world and Stallone looks like some kind of big, weird, melted body builder, but the action sequences are top notch - graphic enough to initially pull an NC 17, the old X rating.

I thought it was actually pretty good. Not near as funny as the other ones though :D

I didn't think the scenes were realistic at all, but I got a big kick out it anyway. There was so much blood and guts that I laughed several times. The acting was awful. The storyline was weak. Stallone looks pretty bad. His retard lip/speech has gotten a lot worse. But shit, all of the things you watch that movie to see are there. Weapons, explosions, and a surplus of flying bloody meat make it quite entertaining if you don't expect anything more.

It turned out better than I thought it would. Especially after seeing the new Rocky movie. I thought it would suck just as bad. Wasent a bad flick though and like you said alot of realism in it
