Well, at least 2/3 has panned out...the 1/3 that hasn't is still ours. I love Josh Hamilton...wouldn't trade him with what I know now...but wouldn't these ERAs be nice around here? Amazing is the walks to strikeout ratio for these guys. At least we got something for Volquez. Brandy McCarthy has been a big pile of doo doo.

The thing about Volquez, I don't think he'd be pitching nearly as well if he was still here. He belongs in the NL and he's having a great season to prove it. Danks on the other hand, what a steal for the Sox. The Sox can never seem to provide Danks with any offense, so his record is misleading, but as you pointed out, his ERA and walks are outstanding while his WHIP is very respectable. Danks has quickly become my favorite pitcher on the Sox. I hope I can find a jersey once I move to Chicago in August, I love this guy. Still can't believe the Rangers traded a highly touted prospect/ground ball pitcher for the flyball pitcher that Mccarthy is. In a hitters park no less. One of the dumbest moves by the Rangers organization thats for sure.
GO WHITE SOX!
