and ended up getting me a '08 gsxr 600. Was gonna settle for the all black color since I couldn't find a white/silver model and then got a heads up on this at the last moment. I've got a full titanium M4 system on order for it to get rid of that ugly muffler under it and lose some weight.

a little over what I wanted to pay. Hard to find color right now though, so since Plano had one I decided to get it. Got 2 in today and both were sold today.

was actually waiting to get the gsxr after I got a cruiser since I'd like to have a sportbike and cruiser, but I guess I'll have to wait on that. Will be selling the FZ1 soon and would like to pick up a new Night Rod Special.

Very nice! I guess that was the color scheme I was telling you that I saw up there one day last week. VERY nice! Very similar with a little bit of flip flopping of the colors to mine....

it's an '06. won't be for awhile till I'm selling it. gonna be swapping off between these 2 till I get ready for that.

when'd you call? lol. I was standing at the parts counter ordering the exhaust and the guy answered the phone, and then asked if either of the white/silver was left and told the person it just sold.

It's a big change going from an upright bike to something so compacted.

ah. must've been the day after then. I went up there at about 5pm on Tues, and they actually had to uncrate it and prep it before they closed at 6pm so I could take it home.

Yeah, can't wait for the exhaust, but now have just realized I'll have to wait till I can afford a pc3/tuning till I can actually put it on. :( bike would run like crap without it I'm guessing, since a full system is getting rid of a lot of crap.

well, 300 miles in less than 1 week and it's still bad ass! switched and rode the FZ1 for a day and it felt akward sitting upright. :D Sucks that I'm so much closer to the 600 mile service, though. Can't believe how people always say you'll get tired of a 600 fast.
Got my deep undertail kit on the way to get rid of this damn mudflap on the back and when the exhaust is on I'll be taking off the passenger footpegs. :cool:

before you get a pc3 you should look at the bazzaZ stuff with the self tuner.just so everytime you change something you don't have to pay to get a dyno tune.

true, but I don't really plan on doing much else other than air filter and stacks. I was just gonna go with the pc3 right now since I can order it for under $300, pre-loaded with the m4 map and free shipping.
and when it comes to the self tuning modules, I was told this is better than bazzaz:
