f4i is a rock solid machine. it's newer technology than the f4, and if forced to choose i would take the f4i. something about hitting the key and start button and the bike starting up first try... makes me curse not buying a FI bike my first time around.

stay away from carb bikes.....if you know how to work on them its ok..but if all you know how to do is put gas in them...go fuel injected

Wise choice, fuel injection is always better than carb. esp on a bike, less coughing while riding the wheelies and stoppies! :D

I seriously hope that was an attempt to make a joke

OP there is no comparison, get the F4i newer technology is always better, and it extends far beyond just the engine. Motorcycle technology moves fast, a year or two can be a large difference.

You can like what you want, I just thought that you might have been making a joke, to me the green stang looks like doo doo, but thats because of the wheels.

Other than the carb, single light, and bannana seat the F4 and F4i are identical. Same forks, swing arms, frames, motors blah blah blah.

Oh sorry for the misinformation, I was assuming that the F4 in question would be older than the f4i and knowing how a year or two can make alot of difference in most bikes I assumed the same would be applicable to that question.
( never really kept up with the F series honda's ) but would still prefer the fuel injection.

there are a lot of parts that will interchange between the 2 bikes, but the few differences are VERY minor as far as performance goes. i would def go for the f4i for the ease of fuel injection and better looks, even though it has the ugly ass headlights.
