View Full Version : Are any of the Chinese pit bikes any good?
Are any of the chinese pit bikes any good...will they hold up or fall apart?
Or should I just save up for a Jap pit bike?
(Rider's weight is 215 lbs.)
The engines seem to hold up ok.. but the bikes fall apart.
You can tell by looking that they are pretty cheaply built.
(At least the ones I have been around)

Those two terms dont belong in the same sentence.
Get a used jap bike.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from any of that Chinese stuff.
Find a preowned Yamaha Zuma. Makes a great pitbike.

I totally agree.

yup I would spend the 1000 dollars and find a used upgraded Honda 50.
CRF 50 i think ...
I got one with an 88 kit and billet triple tree, big bars, sets of tires, billet throttle body, shocks/springs.
well worth it if you are going to ride it much at all.
I abuse stuff , so this is all it that will cut it.
My old chinese knock off just died a slow death of part after part breaking (potmetal)
zillions of repairs , quicksteel oil leak patches, nothing working right.
you can't buy repair parts, so your screwed (who would buy pot metal repair parts LOL)

China sucks, what makes you think anything coming out of there would not suck?
