wish i could, im only the second owner and the previuse owner had been putting 93 in the car so now that i want to switch to 87 it runs like shit! :( bogs out and hesitates at acceleration and hesitates to start so no can do on that one.

plus ive always liked bikes, rode my buddys R1 and enjoyed the fuck out of it.

people say that 600's get boring after a while, do you think a 750 or 1000 would be too much for a "newbie" to the bikeworld?

gsxr 600 perfect for first time riders, they got a good balance and they have steering stabilizers.try and get a fuel injected bike if you can, they may be a little more but they are worth it

if you get a decent fuel injected gsxr 600 you wont be dissapointed. the 600 will hang right there with the 750s and 1000s up to 100mph

so true. I always think it's pretty funny when people say 600s aren't enough.
Hell mine's probably a good 20hp less than any new one, and I only get a few twists of the wrist in with all this traffic.
I'm starting to see why everyone goes to the track. Youll get killed trying these speeds on the street with others out there.

I seriously considered upsizing when I sold my ZX6R. After thinking about it, I realized that I just didn't need anything faster than what I had. Not once did I think to myself, "I sure wish this 636 was faster!"..... SOOOO, I ended up just upgrading to a newer 600!

Lol, I love the blurry tear filled eye experiance myself at high speeds, but obviously with an opened visor not the lack of a helmet, I love my brains. :)

haha you dont get used to any bike after a couple turns, especially a litre bike, but go with the 600, I had MORE fun on my 600 than on the litre bikes, the litre's are fun but a 600 can be more fun in tight spaces, the litre bikes arent as fun to me unless you are trying to stretch its legs a little at like 150 plus mph, I dont really do much 150+ riding so the 600 suits me fine. but after 4 years I did kinda want a little more but it was still a blast.

no not right now, but I prefer the 01 up gsxr 600 myself. And with bikes if its cheap there is a reason. Usually wrecked.

lol.......what he is trying to say it that it will hang through first gear, that's because if you accelerate to hard in first gear on a 1000 you will be on the ground in a heart beat.:p
