Anyone have experience with these bikes. I am looking a for a cruiser as a commuter and want to know if anyone has any experiences with either of these.

Thanks.

just letting you know that a inline 4 would have better gas mileage than a v-twin as a commuter. might want to look at the FZ6.

Can you say Bear on a tricycle. I am a big boy and would look a little funny on one that small. I had an old 1998 Gixxer 1100 and do not like the riding position. One of the requirements is it must be big and slow with a sissy bar so my son or daughter can sit on the back so my wife feels safe. I looked at a Sportster 1200 and it looks tiny with me on it as well.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Insurance on a used 2006 C50 will be around 50/month through State Fam are there better insurance companies to go to for limited insurance?

The the two top cruisers in the middleweight category seem to be the Kawa 900 and the C50. The Vstar supposedly requires to much maintenance and issues with it.

The benefits of the C50.....Drive shaft, nimbleness, comfort, liquid cooled, and limited maintenance.
Benefits of the K 900. More power, disc brakes front and back

on your age, driving record, size of the bike etc. Insurance on my 05 Sabre is only $200 a year. I bought the Honda Sabre mostly as a commuter because honda has been making that engine for years and it is super reliable.

I dont think age or record mattered much on the quote I think that State Farm is just expensive. I will be looking at other alternatives.

Thanks for the input.
