Any CHL instructors on the site?

I am having a problem with getting some info with my arrest record. Any instructors on the board that i could give a call for some awnsers? :confused: Please help! I'm just about at my wits end with this crap. lol

Maybe we can collectly help you. I don't read the law for no reason!

There are numerous references to what will not allow you to get a CHL.
Mainly being felony convictions, not many misdemeanors(i think only violence related like battery/domestic). You may be able to get those expunged though and there is some way now you can still get a CHL. Only if a judge properly expunges your record.
But yes it can be done, depending on your record/ NCIC

Other things that could be a problem is if you have a legally verifiable mental record. Which
mainly only includes people that are reported to authorities as being a danger to themselves : IE commited . If you were never commited to any institute though that would not be an issue, such as outpatient drug treatment or privately paid treatment.
