Parkway Drive - Horizons

I just randomly stumbled upon this band yesterday going through myspace. Basically, from what I can tell this is Australia's version of "Darkest Hour"...

....which makes it badass. I've only gotten through about half of the album and listening to it as I type this but so far it's basically what any metalhead is looking for.

No singing which I hate. I like screaming mixed with singing. Some cool riffs though.

I like screaming, and I like singing. The problem with a lot of bands now that do both is that with every song it's the same thing. Scream through the verse, sing through the chorus. It gets too repetitive.

Although Protest the Hero does both, and does it well while mixing it up.

Protest the Hero = by far the best metal band to come out in a very, very, very long time.
