Final week!!
1. Remember pics are due Thursday (May 15th) No exceptions this time because you can post the before and after pics any time this week!
2. You must have proof of date.
3. Try and make the before and after pics the same the best you can. (distance, clothing, lighting, poses, etc.)
Don’t worry about Ravens pics, he nor I are competing against yall. We’ve been doing this a while and if you make progress like that or better you will get something for sure.
Since I don’t think many will be finishing, this is how the judging will work.
Grayhorse, The Raven, avinson will pick their top (5) finishers. Number 1 for each judge will get 10 points, 2 will get 8 pts, 3 will get 6 pts, 4 will get 4 pts, and 5th will get 2 points.
We’ll total all the points from the 3 judges to get our top 3 people for prizes.

I've been final cutting for the past 4 weeks, and my metabolism finally switched gears about 2 weeks ago. dropped 3lbs. in 11 days. Can't wait for thursday!!!

Unfortunately, i stopped after the first month of hardwork. :( I tore cartiledge and had a bunch of other serious things going on in my life that werent very motivating at the time.
I started working out last week and i set goals that i will fulfill this time.
The competition was good motivation but winning the prizes wasnt the top priority for me as seeing results and being satisfied with what ive accomplished. This is something i have wanted for a long time and this time im 100% dedicated and will reach my goal(s).

i took the pics yesterday but i was having trouble loading them hopefully i can get them up today. i can see a big difference. i was very pleased. i cant workout right now cause of my broken ribs but is there any kind of workout i can do that wont mess with my ribs?

Don depressed the hell out of me yesterday at the gym.
I was telling him how I was dreading the end of this thing. My progress isn't going to show up in pictures so it's just going to look like I'm a failure. I've dropped about 5 lbs but ALL of my lifts have gone up more than I expected.
While doing dips:
Don: "I can tell you've lost some weight."

But whatever. After doing flat BB bench, I still managed to get up 95x8, 95x6, 95x5 on incline DB, which is a new personal best (that won't show up in a pic).

Congrats on making it thus far.
Mine doesn't show like it should either(mainly because of my FEAR of cardio).

Me and my partner got up the 120lber's for incline DB press last night.
That supersetted with some 70lb DB flat bench flyes...we were pretty much spent the rest of our workout.
The press movement wasn't crap, but the flyes is what KILLED IT.

Yeah, my pics aren't going to look like I've lost that much weight, but it's only because I had so much to lose in the first place. :o That, and all my lifts have gone up, but I never had the tone to show what I had before, so it'll be hard to tell now. I still feel great about my progress though, and I'm keepin' it up, so this contest has been nothing but a huge success for me. :)

He was just mad we told him he was stinky.
Don't worry about the pics. I'm trying not to. I'm not exactly looking forward to them though, but that's part of it.
Take a look at that log book. That should cheer you up.

Here we go... I wasn't able to exactly replicate the lighting, and it's in a different room (darker paint color), so that's why the wall looks so much darker.

I really wish I had taken some before pics when you guys started this....I didn't think I'd stick with the gym portion even tough I do go to BJJ/MT 3-4 days a week. I figured I'd slack off on the weights and cardio and the gym after a month or so but now I feel bad when I don't go and I actually WANT to go now.

Well not as much of what I wanted to change, but its a work in progress. Im still going at it hard no cardio just bustin ass with the weights and keepin my heart rate up the whole time. Im going to get my strength and size where I want it and then work on sliming and that crap. Im a fatty and will always be big :D Yeah and ill get my Leg pics and post in the morning I dont have the stuff to do it at home and im not showin off my tighties..

You can pull them up on MS Paint on your computor and put them side by side. Even resize them to the same size if you need to.

I am still holding about 3lbs of water right now, and it's been 4 days since the sunburn... I'm not peeling YET, but it's about to start on my chest. This si so depressing. I cut pretty hard, and everything in the midsection is being hidden behind a layer of water I can't get rid of. :(

Well I managed a full 20lbs. Its not what I was hoping for but its decent progress. Time for more cardio, boo!!!! Wish I would have taken pics from the side. I've dropped at least a good 2 inches off my gut. These pics don't tell the whole story. My shirts fit much better now so I'm happy.

Here are mine. This was my first time using the mspaint thing so I hope it turns out. The pics on the left of the pair are the old ones, right side is new and there is a new one by itself at the bottom.

As you can see from the scale I gained a couple of pounds. Not what I wanted it to say, but I've learned not to put too much stock in the scale anymore. I definitely lost some fat and gained some muscle. My lifts are way heavier than when I started.
As far as my measurements they are as follows.
Start-
Neck- 15.5"
Chest- 41"
Arms- 14"
Forearms- 12.25"
Belly- 37"
Hips- 39"
Thigh- 23"
Calf- 15.5"
End-
Neck- 15" -.5
Chest- 40" -1.0
Arms- 14.5" +.5
Forearms- 12" -.25
Belly- 36" -1.0
Hips- 39.5" +.5
Thigh- 22" -1.0
Calf- 15.25" -.25
From here on out I'm going to keep working on the ol' gut and stay with what I've been doing, except I'll be adding some Cellmass and NO-Xplode to the protein and vitamin mix. And, as always, more cardio. :o
Don and I were talking earlier about putting up new pics every 30,60, or 90 days or whatever to keep showing off the progress. I invite everyone to join us. I think it's going to be really cool to follow everyone's progress from here on out.

I'll be right there with you two. I'm only down about 10 lbs from where I started and I think most of that is from the extra water weight from drinking so many cokes and all the beer that I was. My diet is much more strict and I'm still working on improving that as i go. My work outs mainly consisted of light cardio and so far I haven't noticed a big change in my appearance but I've felt the difference in my diet in my every day life.
With a little help from Greg I'm going to give the Hyperdrive a try and work on dropping some more weight and getting lean.
EDIT: Congrats and great job to the guys who stuck with it and have seen results. I know for a fact my downfall was the fact that I couldn't put the beer down long enough. But I'm glad to say that I've only had 2 beers in the past 3 weeks and I'm hoping the little to no drinking will continue to help me improve.

Thanks, man. :) I am pissed I burned myself up so bad, I'll post up some more in a week after the water leaves again because my abs were what I was most happy about. More lats, more bicep, triceps are popping, but my favorite gain is hidden :(

I didnt really get before and after measurements but on the scale, I went from 245 to 237. Consider I put a somewhat lofty goal of 205, I fell way short, but Ill keep at it. Im sure I have lost fat and gained muscle and thats what is important. I still have the man boobage :rolleyes: going on, but its certainly gone down some.
A big thanks to Greg for putting this thing on...as well as Aaron and Smashley for helping out.
