If anyone is experienced in shower pan installation. Please let me know. Will possibly pay cash, if not check. I need a price on parts and labor. I'm located in Richardson.
Dimension of the shower- 35x68 (walk in 3 wall shower)
-remove existing shower tiles
-inspect wood for damage
-install new drain and pan liner
-install cement backer and tile on all surfaces
-Grout the tile
-Repair sheet rock on wall next to shower
Shoot me a price on everything minus the shower door or with shower door. Please PM or call to get a hold of me faster. Thanks!

Removing all that is actually easy, save some $ an do it yourself! And if you replace a shower pan woth the same sized one, you can get it at Home Depot/Lowes and do that yourself too.
My guess, when you see the estimate from a profesional , you will decide to keep it the way it is now. :D

well I'm not in the house much and its my parents place.. I think its rotting some of the wood and sheet rock around it. It doesnt need to be immediately replaced but there is some sense of urgency. If someone here can get me a good deal, i'll ask the 'rents and reply ASAP :)

FYI, home owners ins will pay for the damage caused buy the pan leak. ** they will not pay for the pan itself, or the repair to it, but everything that has water damage under and around it will be covered, minus deductable of course.
<--- spent many hours working fire and flood damage jobs

not worth it to insure it with home owners insurance. Already tried that route. The deductible and all will cost more than the damage.. TTT for a weekday!

Demo it out yourself, it save you a few $$$.
I actually gutted my RR yesterday, and it's now just 2x4's and insulation. Hopefully the wifey has made up her mind by Sat so we can put the damn thing back together again.
I forgot about it this morning and walked in to take a piss this morning and was like WTF? Scared the shit outta me, kinda like a sci-fi movie :o

You are looking at at least $500 in demo cost then many variables as to what tile you choose and all that stuff like price per foot but to do all that is going to run at least $3000 at a very discounted price cause tile takes many processes to complete. A plumber will most likely be needed and that is minimum $150 You might want to consider fiberglass composite panels or cultured marble for better pricing. My opinion is to demo yourself, frame some new studs, hang new sheet rock and call a marble place and have them install a marble pan and walls. Shower that size would cost bout $1600 for marble. So you could do it yourself for bout $2000. You can address most unknowns in Home Depot's 123 guide I think. I dont have time otherwise I would come give you a price. Good luck

I agree, 2000 - 3000 is a rough estimate for redoing a tile shower. You will have fewer problems down the road with a culture marble shower.
