Hmm, i think it was like 9 or 10 last night on the speed channel. I have dish network...

It had to have been a driver error, it was funny though :p Also a guy big block chevy 92ish mullet style camaro threw a rod :o Felt sorry for him

Are you talking about the Pinks episode featuring the turbo Toyota sedan versus the blue Cobra "War Snake?" The Cobra would not run - they substituted a 5.0 hatch in it's place - it too had issues. The Toyota wasn't running its best either, but was still more consistent than either Mustang. Not sure where the "fake" part is coming from...
The Cobra was never able to put together a single decent pass.

That episode was bunk as hell. Let's just say that everything happened accordingly. Why would someone bring a pile of shit to a race? Not to mention the driver behind this pile of shit didn't realize his junk was loading up and he needed to clear it out while at the line.

I can understand how someone could get fumbuzzled with a carb car and no experience, but the dudes with the toyota had a decent little computer system and couldn't figure it out. He kept saying it was cutting out at the top of 1st, but it was obviously doing it going into 2nd. He had all that data and not one clue as to what to do in order to have a semi-clean pass.

What really makes me think it was all staged was Rich saying this was supposed to be a big episode. Why???? I'm guessing there is a back story somewhere on the internet?
