My new laptop won't let me open links without clicking in the address bar and hitting enter. It opens the new page but just sits blank until you do the above. It won't open things that require validations because it is like the pages don't talk to each other
Can anyone help? I need to be able to open my school webmail on this thing
Help :o

Does it have Vista? I would try reinstalling the Web browser, or like mentioned use Firefox instead of IE

It sounds like youre running IE 7. I would try the basics first, such as Clear history, cookies, restart etc.. I would also clear out your temp folder as well. If that doesnt work i would try installing Firefox or Mozilla. I prefer IE6 but thats just me.

Its not specific to the browser. It can be related to something else set by the browser if that makes sense.

if it's a new laptop, why not call support? should be free... just call during an off hour, like right when they open, to avoid hold times.
