You wouldn't expect to ever have to call Springfield Armory's customer service, but its nice to know that if you have to, they really make it easy for you. By far one of the best I have ever dealt with! Anyways, just wanted to share since I know sometimes you end up dealing with horrible cust. serv. types with various companies.

Magazine release was getting stuck in after dropping a magazine. Just bought the pistol new saturday. Never ran into this problem before. Anyways, went ahead and called customer service to see what I should do since I'd prefer not to have to worry about voiding warranty, etc... They were really cool about it and asked if I would like a new mag release shipped to me. I said I'd take it apart and mess with it for now, see if it just needs to be worn in or not. She said if it didn't work, give her a call back and they would ship the new part out. Not bad if you ask me.

Pretty good customer service. I will always pay a little more money if the customer service is superb. I picked up a SA XD40 sub-compact for $440 at Cabelas about 2 months ago. They had to price match Bachman Guns.

I'm thinking a XD in .40 may be my next pistol purchase, or the compact 1911. For some reason I'm addicted those things. How much was the XD at Cabela's?
