Well, theres a place in venus that you're free to shoot at as long as you clean up the place when you're done. I'll bring all my toys out if we get a group that wants to go.

you can shoot 1000 yards if you want to walk all way into the damn prairie. I normally shoot match grade tracers at that distance to make spotting easier, but you can only do that after a decent rain.

It's technically in maypearl, but you head down 157 from venus. If we get enough people interested we can set something up. One of the local landowners owns this particular range, he's real cool, as long as you don't do anything stupid and you clean up after yourself you can shoot as you want without any restrictions... it's a good place for full auto weapons.

Nice! I am not too far from there. I am really busy this week, but I will shoot you a PM soon about going. I want to air my 300 win mag out past 600 and see what it will do :)
