I think I have decided on a TV, might need more education.

Ok, Currently I have a 60" old school looks like the size of a mainframe from the 70's. (huge and heavy, non HD) I can not afford the LCD/Plasma's that are 60" so that leaves the 61" DLP TV's. I pretty much have my mind made up on Samsung. (supposed to be in the top 5 by consumer reports) I am not wild about replaceing the bulb every couple of years like you people educated me on. So I am looking at an LED DLP. Any body got one? Likes/dislikes?

I am going to ride out till memeorial day to see if they put them on sale and possibly even wait till July 4th weekend. Cheapest I have found is $1699.95 (HLT- 6187s model) No special pricing.

If you want to spend as little money as possible, I recommend waiting until Black Friday.

I got my Sharp 46" LCD for only $1300 (normally $2400) I ordered it online for in store pickup so I didn't even have to wait in line..
