I thought it started Monday? Did we not push the date a few days, or the window for entry was just expanded?

Either way, I am stalling big time! Here's your chance to take victory from me. :D Lots of personal/professional drama going on in my life right now, and the diet/workout is suffering. (mostly the diet) I am by no means giving up, or changing back to my old ways. Life is just giving me the high hard one right now, and I'm doing good to get up and go to work in the morning, much less do what it takes to keep a good diet going.

Ah well, I'm still happy with how this contest has gone so far.

I'm stalled at just over 20lbs lost, hovering just under 200lbs of bodyweight. "They" always say that the last 5lbs is the hardest, so it may be time to up the cardio a little more, and screw off on the weekends a little less.

I am still down 8 pounds and I am wearing a size smaller jeans today! Woot! I can't tell a difference when I look at myself but the scale and these jeans tell me that I'm a little bit smaller. I still have 10-15 pounds to lose to be really satisfied.

Not much to report here. I've been out of the gym all week due to work, which has actually helped in allowing a couple of injuries to heal. I did a number on my shoulder a couple of weeks ago and it's taking it's sweet ass time to heal. It's still tender, but I'll be back in the gym Monday. I'm just going to have to play designated spotter on certain exercises until it's %100.

I've kept my diet the same and I'm still at 175. I don't see myself getting any lighter through the end of this thing, just stronger and more defined. Maybe a little slimmer in belly, but I'll be working on that forever it seems.

It started on a Friday. The entry was pushed a few days not the ending.

Raven- 20lbs? Damn, you should be looking pretty damn lean with the amount of muscle you hold. Im doing my best to keep my weight up while doing the carb depletion. Im down to 198lbs again from 204 last week. I hope i dont lose to much more.

Best I can figure is that I was holding alot of water from being sick, because most of the weight came off in a matter of less than 2 weeks, once I started running. There a noticable difference in my face, and my abs are starting to peek through, but I'm still in the low double digits as far as fat content is concerned (damn love handles). I also had quite a bit more bodyfat than you at the beginning, and though I haven't put a tape to them yet, my measurements are suffering. Anybody have some super-test that I can borrow? :o

As an aside, I happened to catch an episode of American Chopper, and they were building a bike for BSN. May have been a rerun, but it's the first I'd seen it.

Im more than likely out of this thing. My damn weight will not budge. I have been working on my running like crazy trying to get ready for next weekends tri, but with school have not had time to get in any long rides. My diet has been all sorts of weird from school, I just can't stay on a constant schedule. Ill eat in the mornings and sometimes its 5 before I have time to get anything else.

still not playing but I hit 245 on the scale in the afternoon after eating a bunch of food all day, so that make 14 lbs in 3 weeks. Lightest I have been in 10 years. I am going for 240 by the end of next week.

We got back in from Seattle at 2am and despite walking everywhere and often my weight hasn't gone down any. I guess too many up and downs on the scale has made my body more resistant to losing weight quickly. This contest isn't over yet and the rains we got while we were out of town has wrecked my lawn and given the weeds time to sprout up so I have plenty of lawn work to help me out in this.

I'm late to the party, I suppose.
I started lifting/cardio 4 weeks ago yesterday and am down from 237 to 220.5.
I'd like to see another 35 or so dropped by the time it's all said and done, but my main goal right now is to be 200lbs by 6/15.

Like I said last week, I won't be winning this thing. Not enough weight dropped (still 210-212). But, my lifts have gone up.

For example, (the actual movements aren't exactly the same, but I think the numbers still show progress)...

Here's my progress over the last 6 weeks:

3-17-08
Chest/Tri

Incline bench (DB, negatives) - 65x14, 64x8, 65x6, 65x5
Decline bench (barbell) - 185x10, 205x8, 225x7, 245x6
Flat bench (DB) - 75x12, 75x6, 75x3

Cable pulldowns - 90x16, 100x12, 110x10
Seated dips (legs out straight, hands on bench) - bodyweight x 20, bodyweight x 20, bodyweight x 20,

4-28-08
Chest/Tri

Flat bench (barbell) - 135x10, 225x8, 245x5, 275x2
DB Flyes - 60x10, 60x6, 60x5
Incline bench (DB) - 90x7, 90x6, 90x4

Skullcrushers - 75x12, 90x7, 90x10
Cable pulldowns - 100x16, 110x12, 130x10
Seated dips (legs out straight, hands on bench) - bodyweight x 20, bodyweight +30lbs x 30

I definitely feel stronger (thanks, Don :D)... but I simply lack(ed) the cardio motivation to make it really noticable. I'm trying to force myself into it now. That, and I need to work on the diet. It's not the calorie count I'm concerned with, but cleaning it up and getting the protein intake up where it needs to be.

down 10 lbs and back into my prepregancy jeans which was my goal. still like to lose another 10-15 and tone up more. i was sick all last week, so gymtime suffered. all this travelling for work is killing me too- gotta go next week and will have evening functions with zero time to workout. but i am happy with what i've gotten done so far.

I'm doing great...diet has been on pat, haven't drank a drop in months and months now, shedding pounds, and increasing my lifts.
I got up 295lbs for three sets of 6 last night(God, I hate barbell benchpresses!).
I feel the fat pretty much melting away, and my body trying to poke it's way out!

I'm thinking about maybe uping my addiction levels...
9-12 times a week in the gym.

3-6 days of cardio(before work 20-30 mins)
continue onward with 6 days a week, one muscle group per day

You can't fit a protein bar in between classes? Come on now...
