Tinkered with the 1911

I replaced the main spring housing with a stainless arched one. Replaced the beavertail safety and installed a different hammer. I also polished misc. parts.
What do yall think?

Caspian Damascus Slide and/or Damascus hammer.

Very slick with a dark gun.

Videcki triggers are pretty good, but he doesn't make them anymore. I think STI makes one similar.

Caspian makes a Damascus trigger as well.

Slide is probably $$$, but hammer and trigger shouldn't be too bad.

I dont know about the hammer and trigger price, but that Damascus slide is about $800. :eek:
