Best free antivirus/spyware/adware...?

I know the AVG free edition is probly the best free antivirus, but is there a similar one for spyware/adware? (has to be free just like the AVG) Preferably one that self updates like AVG does. :cool:

Spybot Search and Destroy is great. It takes a while to scan, but it's pretty comprehensive. Also KasperSky I think is how you spell it, is really good as well. It takes longer, but scans for ALL types of spyware on ALL parts of your computer.

edit: if you want the quick and dirty adware/spyware removal tool, use AdAware.

typing with one hand here. other have a tendon graft done so no grammar police go to major geek.com and click on antispyware scroll down to superantispy and download works great and free picked up things the others missed

Yup I run that and Spybot search and destroy to keep mine clean. Get them free from www.freedownload.com

Yep, I run Spybot S&D and Ad-aware both. Haven't had any problems.
