New COD4 maps

Any of you Xbox'ers get the new "Variety Map Pack" on or since April 3rd?

It's supposed to be available for purchase ($10) for PS3 people on Thursday (24th). Plus, you get double points this weekend.

They' sound pretty good. "Broadcast" is the TV station from the single player mode, "China Town" is a re-skin of a classic map from COD1/2, "Creek" is a wide open sniper's paradise, and "Killhouse" is a... killhouse.

China Town and Broadcast are fun. They're big enough and laid out to be varied maps. Any objective game i've played on them so far usually goes over pretty well.

Creek is fun if it's played on any objective other than Domination. The sniping shit gets old, quick, and is REALLY onesided. True, you can work your way across and occasionally slip past/sneak up on snipers, but sometimes there are just too many. If it's something like headquarters, or one of the bomb layouts, then it's more fun. Something to make the snipers move it or lose it.


haven't played a round on killhouse yet, but it's tiny. I can imagine it'll be a grenade fest, much like shipment. take Shipment, and make 8x2 rows of it, and that's what you're got.

I think every map is a grenade fest just not as much as Shipment :D

I really don't like creek, mainly cause I'm the guy getting snipe all the time. Its ok if ihave a good sniper on my team. I'm alright on sniping just not that map.

China Town, I like that map , fun for setting up claymore's :D Last night I was playing team tactical and I got 4 kills, playing Search and Destroy. And they were all from claymores :D. They were pissed, cause everyone on my team put them down everywhere. They keep running into them :D

Killhouse is almost just spawn killing if played right. They will only have that on Team tactical though. I kinda of like it. I actually got a air strike kill on that map. Its kinds of had with the roof. Put there are holes in it so you barely can get a rocket in there ;)

Broadcast just another fun map with all the types played on it.


Now COD4 needs to do is fix the spawn points or quit helping the leading team in headquarters. I mean they get the perfect spawns once you start leading.

they are pretty cool, i like the creek, but i'm also trying to complete the challenges for sniper rifles. almost done though then gonna work on assault rifles.

Well that was fun as hell. Got to play a little Friday, a little Saturday, and a little yesterday.

Creek is by far my favorite. Not quite the sniping orgy I thought it'd be. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty to do if you're a sniper, but I didn't ever feel like a fish in a barrel or anything.

Chinatown was fun. A little tight, and I never did find much of a sweet spot in it. Mostly just running and gunning.

Broadcast was the same way. Tons going on in every direction. This was BY FAR the map that most often came up this weekend. I bet I played it twice as much as Chinatown, and three times more than Creek. Not by choice, that's just how it worked out.

I have got all the secret spots down already. I have been rocking the shit out of those levels!
I have a snipin spot at the creek that got me a 10 streak sniping run.

Thats how it was when it rolled out for Xbox.
Just wait for players to get really used to Creek. ..you'll start seeing that "fish in a barrel" scenario. :)

p90 silenced, , three flashes, uav jammer, extreme conditioning. . . . i sneak up and knife so many snipers it's funny. Of course i take my fair share of bullet too.

Sounds fun, and UAV jammer is perfect for that. I just think that Overkill is made for that map.
