Does anyone have a hookup on concrete? I have a 10x10 pad and I want to add another 10x20 to it. Anyone here do this for a living?

Where are you located, I am in South FTW...I might be able to hook you up with a flatwork guy that charges $3 per sq foot. so 10x20 = 200 * 3 = $600

It will be Thursday before I can get his number...PM me if you want it.

Thanks

its not a matter of that...if you have a nice clear sunny sunday you can knock it out..clear out the ground, and level dirt best you can...couple of 2x's nailed together..throw some rebar in there..get a blender attachment for a drill, and 3 5 gallon buckets..1 5 gallon bucket will hold 1 80lb bag of quickrete..fill with water..mix all 3 up...then repeat til full..shouldnt take but about 9 buckets or so..and thats 4 in thick..

not hard at all if you aint scared of getting dirty...

lol..you need to redo your math. I did a small pad to put the trashcans on a couple weeks ago and we used 6 bags for 20sq ft at 2-3". According to quickrete's calculator you will need 57 bags to do a 10x10x4". You would never mix and pour that pad without it starting to set up on you.

wow - my house has a large S-shaped drive that comes around the side of the house. Would like to have a section added to make a circular drive for in-and-out traffic. Probably going to cost CRAZY money.

It's not uncommon for me to spend $5k-$6k just on flatwork. 100x12 ft driveways + turnarounds, etc.

Ken 817-988-6715 He has quoted $3 per square foot poured with either rebar or metal mesh (can't remember) He is located over here in South FTW, but might go anywhere, just ask... this is his full time job.

ex. 10' x 30' patio = $900
Thanks!
