i have a question about my sprinkler system (which i didnt put in). I have the mist sprinkler heads all over my yard. In the backyard in the corner I am wanting to put in a flower bed with shrubs, and a tree. Well this area of my yard is a little unlevel and I am needing to bring in about 6-9" of dirt to level it out. Well when I do, I know that my sprinkler head is not going to stick out of the ground anymore.

I know this is probably a simple fix, but how do I make my head "taller"??

Dig down and around the sprinkler head until you reach the point where the riser pipe screws into it's feed line. Unscrew the current riser and go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a longer riser. Put some thread seal tape on each end of the new riser, screw it back in to the feed line, then attach your sprinkler head.

X3, just don't let any dirt fall in the line when you pull off the riser/sprinkler. Dig the hole around it large enough to have some clearance, or just be real careful. If dirt does fall in, just turn it on for a second with the sprinkler unattached, it will blow it right out!
