Nah that is an 1/8 mile time, funny cars that run 4.8s in the 1/4, run 300 plus mph. That would equate out to a low 6 second 1/4 mile pass if the car was setup to complete a 1/4 mile run.

I also think that its the right time. I think Lenmar motorsports and TOPMA and everything that has to do with outlaw pro mods is about to get HUGE! They got a real good thing over there at Lenmar and its only going to get better!

Bad Bird FTW AGAIN!!!!!! I think they have won every race except one so far this year and that was a runner up :eek: Those 3's might look pretty, but I bet that winners circle feels a lot better everytime out ;)

Brian scruggs, blown small block vette. Came into to town for a big race at kennedale and first pass off the trailer went 4.01, second pass went 3.98. His slowest pass of the weekend was a 4.05. Closet car to him was a 4.15.

That is what a Fuel funny car runs but the alcohol cars run a litlle faster then that in an 1/8 but not much more. Which i beleive the fastest alchol funny car is like a 5.58.

WOW! I knew hed been running like that for a couple of years now, but I didnt know it had already been 6. Shows you how time flies. And those checks and that winner circle is going to be sporting a new name and face before too long! Congrats to the BAD BIRD and crew, yall are having a hellava season but i think TBH is going to give you and everyone else a good run for your money now that his car is getting faster!

The Guys name is Jason Scruggs and yes he is the fastest 1/8th mile door slammer on the planet! The quickest he went with the small block was 3.96. Yes Gaylen is a few years behind, but damn so are we. We ran our first 3.99 at ennis world finals last year and a string of 3's after that. Ya'll act like the 3's come easy. We will be the first to tell you they dont.

Also as everyone has seen 3 second laps dont always win you races. Gaylen is makng way more HP then we are, but at the same time you have to be able to get down a TOPMA track consitantly. Ennis is not our normal place to race. TXR, Redline, Denton, and HMP.

I know alot of people like busting Gaylens balls, but atleast give him credit, there are still alot of people that have not made that milestone. Guess what he just went faster then us. Our quickest lap has been 3.97 and his has been 3.95

Yes it was nice to collect a check, but the best part of it was making it to the winners circle.

It is hard to tell, we had no signs of it, excpt lack of horse power thats for damn sure. No mater what we through at it, it wasn't having it. We went up on the blower added timing, leave rpm, clutch and it just didnt want to go fast. But Oh well. I have picture in my phone but for some reason it is not downloading to my card so I can up load.
