Domain Registration

I have this friend that wants to open a website but doesn't want any ties to it what so ever. Court, financial, etc. So lets say that one bought a prepaid gift card and purchased said domain in question and hosted it at godaddy. My question is I dont think you can buy a domain with a gift card? Does anyone else know any that will?

get a prepaid visa card. use that prepaid card to buy another prepaid, then use that one to get ANOTHER prepaid from a different state. then buy the domain, use bs information and use that giftcard info. then transfer to a different house.
