Recomend a video editor

I need to edit some video what does everyone use? I have a large file that locks up windows media player but I can watch it on quicktime. There is a lot of stuff I need to cut out and I dont know what software to use.

windows movie maker if you're on XP. it comes stock, and is VERY easy to use

windows movie maker is free and easy. Adobe preimer is the best but pricey. Pinnacle studio is pretty good but a memory hog. Then again all video editing software is a memory whore.

Sony Vegas is by far the best one i've seen.

I made this with WoW and Vegas in like an hour.
