not sure how good of a deal you will get but heres someone Christian 214-557-8813 tell him you got his number from Jason the pool guy.
Just go get one of those bug sprayers where you mix your own stuff. If you use the really runny stuff it will work fine.

yup. we had to add paint thinner or mineral spirits in ours to get it really watery. 2 coats from a bug sprayer and it was all good.
it does throw a lot of mist. be sure to cover yourself and stuff on the other side if there is anything there...
i remember spraying the side of my neighbors house... whoops! good thing no one lived there since it was still being built.

When you spray, put a chunk of carboard on the grass so you do not spray/kill it along the fence line. ;) Just move it along as you finish each section.

My neighbor does it, and he is OCD, so I'm betting he is good. His house and yard always look good. Not sure how far he travels though. We are in Wylie. Let me know if you want his contact info.

I do. We use either Ready Seal or Wood Defender. Both are oil based, deep penetrating wood stains. Manufacturer trained.
What color are you looking for? How much fence?

Well, I am just looking for a redish brown in color. I will count panels on Saturday and let you know.
I know I could do it myself but I have had some quotes and I have compared how much sealant/stain I would need and it ain't worth me doing it myself. I looked into getting the Ready Seal and it is a bit expensive. The quote I got from a guy that does the wood defender quoted me a decent price when you go to figuring how much in stain it would cost to do it myself.

measure how long it is in feet... he will need the fence length, height and to know if you want both sides stained.

Very true! If someone has quoted you the sqft already I can quote you a price.
Its easy, sqft * .30 for regular fence .35 for board on board.
Also helps to know if you have a pool or extensive amount of decorative stuff in the yard to cover up. Just for time planning.
How long has the fence been in? We recommend waiting 4-6 weeks for the wood to finish drying but most people go immediately.

Pesticide sprayer and Olympic stain from Lowe's. I think it is Redwood or Cedar tone.
Looks great after 4 years.
Cost me about 200$. Neighbor had theirs done with paint for about the same price from someone that was knocking door to door when the neighborhood was new.

It's a good aerobic workout - I got some name brand crab that had a tint on it. Took half a day.

Ready Seal is actually cheaper than Wood Defender when purchased direct. At retail I have seen RS as much as $130 a bucket but direct it costs about $80.
I can spray an entire fence in just a couple of hours.

If your fence is new wood, give it a couple of months to dry out. One side of ours was new when we moved in and it's blistering and peeling. Once the moisture is out it should be fine, though. We used the Behr stain/sealant from HD. My neighbor and I split the cost on a Wagner sprayer.....Pain in my ass.
Do like has been recommended and have someone do it for a reasonable price or get a bug sprayer....
