Anyone here have one? Are they expensive to do? I was at a house a few weeks ago that had one and it was really cool, and smelled good. Just curious, whats the benefit?

I don't know about the smell good part of it. One of my wifes friends has cedar closets throughout their house, and they always smell like fucking hamsters.

With modern synthetics, most people don't have a need for aromatic cedar other than pet bedding so the newer generations associate the smell to pets. Older generations think of winter since that's where they stored all the wool sweaters during the summer. And the tweener's just think of grandma & grandpa :p

Hard to do? It depends on what you want. You could just line a current closet with it fairly easily or go all out and build a new, free standing unit. My father had one in his attic that wasn't very pretty, but was functional.
