Not sure how traction would effect your oil pump drive rod. Usually that brakes due to something stoping your oil pump from turning, like a really thick cold oil. Really have no idea how traction would brake an oil pump drive rod.

that sucks about your oil pump shaft you better go ahead and replace the pump to most likely something locked it up

I still don't see how "traction" can cause that, I can see a stock shaft twisting when you spray it, but not traction being the factor.

well i have a tko spec stage 3 clutch so all the torque hits the engine somethings gotta give the only time i have twisted one is on the line you tell me thats the best i can figure

Did someone sneak on slicks inbetween runs? I dont see going from spinning at 8.9 to dropping a little tire pressure and breaking shit?

well i spun launching at 3500 dropped tire pressure to 25lbs and launched at 3500 again and hooked

There is no way it's traction, you will slow the crank down when you launch which will in turn slow the cam which is driving the oil pump. The only time you would ever spin an oil pump drive shaft is when you try and lunch the car and the oil pump rpm can keep up with the cam rpm, or something gets sucked into the pump and stops it.

I would guess that if you put a good after-market drive shaft in it your problems would go away.

You sucked something in the oil pump. It doesn't take much for it to happen. Been there and done that twice.
