My sled went a 1.39 short time on 275/60/15 drag radials......
..........then fell on it's face about half track.
Just got a new Lokar Throttle cable and it came out of adjustment. I am so sick and tired of cable issues.

Was that the last run? It looked like a helluva launch then it slowed down I noticed. Tough luck, i thought oh shit here comes a new best. Next time...

Yeah it came out on fire and then it was in and out of the jug......those extra 100 ponies make all the difference in the world. Damn Lokar cable was supposed to be the hot ticket and it hasn't lived up to its reputation so far.

I'm glad Neal wants to race, my GT is stock form and not gutted. Even has Stock wheels on it. I need to start some where, I'd like to outrun Grayhorse but I dont think he races anymore.

He posted up in another thread just the other day, he's still around, just been busy. I know his brother hadnt posted in a while though. Never thought I would own a mustang but what ever. Its fast, I guess. :confused: That just doesnt sound right coming out of my mouth! :eek:

My new ride Mater is gonna fly, I picked Todds heads up the other day. The short block will be arriving soon enough. Going to get the rear end here in the next couple of days so I can start on the 4 lnk set up. Cant wait!!!!!

Well if that happens....You should never brag about a stroker motor beating a non stroker...just sayin. Ya Todd told me about the heads, so when will the truck be at the track....mid-summer or sooner?

I doubt this year honestly, I am not getting in a hurry. When I built the II it was done around September, raced a few Saturday nights and season was up. This one will be ready sometime befor the new season next year, it will run. It should be as fast as the II was I hope.
