Any out at Kennedale last night and see the stabbing. Happened down in the section just in front of us. Tons of blood everywhere. Guy got stabbed in the neck, arm, and side. This was a night that I let my daughter bring two friends and had to talk to the parents before leaving to let them know I have been going there for 7 years and never seen a problem. Bad timing.

k-dale had better stomp that shit out now, or the city of kennedale might not view them favorably going forward. A city being willing to put up with at drag strip within the city limits is pretty rare anymore, a city putting up with a drag strip that has serious violence or crime problems is untenable.

I don't think raising the price will help. These people seem to have plenty of it! It will just hurt the family guy that wants to have a fun night out. It just sucks that the place has to be like that on special events nights. I watched first round and left, so I didn't know anything about this. Don't count TXR totally out, it is still ok on Wed nights, stuff like Muscle Car Challenges, Cruises, and if you want a couple of time trials, and do some bracket racing Saturday is about as safe as it gets. I didn't know something happend last year too, I guess I just don't get out very often anymore.

Well I was the first one who noticed the fight and started running towards it, the cop told me to STOP and he hauled ass pass me. Shortly after some more people came down the track then some fuck launched a glass bottle right in front of me. I was standing next to the camera man. Don't know why they tossed the bottle but I'd sure like to know who it was!

Well it's sad that happened for the people that had to witness it. I left about 10 o'clock before this went down. I was down in the stands around 9:45 down by the starting line and heard some pretty bad talk. Now that is normal on a Friday night. But I decided to move on down the fence a few hundred feet. I guess it happened not long after I left for home.

I almost hate to say it, but TXR has been trying for the last 3 or 4 years to get the betting crowd out in full force on Friday nights and they got em there.

Well, they got what they asked for. It's sad, but I seen this one coming a long time ago. My guess is nothing will change though.

I love going on KOTH/Promod nights to get some bets in...and Momo...5 dollar bets not good enough? I usually can put $20 or so on any race I want to. I've paid for my trip to the track, dinner, and a 12 pack of beer more than once by those pesky 5 dollar bets.

If you don't like that crowd stay on the spectator side away from it and you don't have to deal with the jungle.

It happened around 11ish and they shut things down for about 30minutes. As was said above someone threw a bottle out on the track so they had to cleanup the glass plus they had the track ambulance tied up for quite awhile until EMS came. It happened in between the 1st and 2nd section of the bleachers on the pit side just in front of the tunnel walkway. There was quite a bit of blood and a blood trail where the guy walked away with a friend. They ended up bringing him back over to a picnic table in the concession area. After it was all over the concession people came out in rubber gloves and had to bleach down that whole area because of the blood everywhere. I must say it makes me have second thoughts about coming back for awhile. It is usually always me, my daughter, and a she brings a friend. I might come myself but there is no way I will put my kids at risk. I spent 20min convincing two sets of parents that it was safe out there and there kids would be perfectly safe coming with me. They now have doubts about letting their kids go anywhere with me.

Yeah he is fine. Got like 75 stiches on his face I heard. I was betting with the guy that did the stabbing all night (seemed really nice and joked around with him a lot). Two people were arguing over a race that hadnt even happened yet and started yelling at each other (nothing out of the ordinary) Then the guy that got stabbed pushed the guy he was arguing with and the guy I was betting jumped down there and started swing a knife around. But it seems to me that the usual friday night crowd has started going on sundays and now fridays are kinda dead.
