the coupons are NOT in the mai forwarding kit, you have to sign up online then they send it. Also, the 10% off when you sign up for a credit card is not a promotion right now, I am in the process of getting a storm door from them and I tried all these methods to get a discount. They do accept competitors coupons, I've heard they accept the 15% off 1 item Harbor Freight coupon that comes in the entertainment passbook. I will be trying this soon. That is basically what I did. I went to Lowe's (because HD wouldn't play ball). They were also running a promotion for mail-in rebates for gift cards that equaled about 10% ($25 gift card for every $250 purchase). I talked to the manager about giving me 10% on my first purchase and he told me no, but when I went to check out at Customer Service the girl said yes (so we went back and also got a new dishwasher before checking out). The card also had 0% financing and 0 payments for 12 months. So I got 10% off AND 10% back in gift cards!!

Of course I also only bought a $900 mower. My lot is less than 1/5 acre and is fenced and with trees. Anything bigger would have been a hassle.

hey i work for home depot and no we don't get hook ups at a store level either (we get a shitload of discounts on a lot of outside products from different companies)...i can check to see what kind of sales we have on tractors similar to the one you're looking for and/or when the next big sale will be so you can save some money. any specifics on what it is that you're looking for? what kind of tractor? brand? power? etc.

oh and just fyi...home depot will not accept coupons bought from ebay, there's been a lot of changes done to the coupons that are now being offered and accepted at home depots. but you can take it to slowe's...i mean lowes and they'll prob. accept an ebay home depot coupon just to get the sale...but it all depends on the people that are working at the time, sometimes you get an asshole and sometimes you don't :D

went applied for a c.c. only gave me 1k :mad: wouldnt go up on it

so i bought it with another c.c.

tractor was originally 2399 - was marked down too 2159 because it was the floor model and since i couldnt get the 0% financing i told them to take off another 10% which they did so it came down to 1943 total walk out was 2103 so i think i did pretty good

this was done at lowes
