Whats there to do in Central TX Car related?

I'm trying to get a central texas get together, and I dont know whats in the area to do.

Anyone got any ideas?

Well, there isn't a whole lot to do in the Waco area. IIRC there's a car show at Church of the Open Door the first Saturday of everymonth, it's at the intersection of loop 340 (lake shore dr.) and I-35, behind the Whataburger. As far as Temple, Kileen/Ft. Hood, I'm clueless as I don't travel to those towns for anything, I usually head to the N. Texas region if I go anywhere.

they used to park in temple on friday nights in different areas there was a f-body club and a domestic muscle. I haven't heard about either of them in forever but i'm always working. Austin area stangs is the closest thing i know of. you can look them up.

I'm stationed in Abilene.

A bunch of us from Dyess AFB and Fort Hood are going to cruise down to Shiner and tour the brewery and get drunk at a hotel during the first weekend of June.

Anyone can come if they want to. We just ask you that you be of age.

I already had it apart. got a rough finish on it. I still need to put the interior back together, bolt down the clutch cable, and fix some exhaust leaks!

sounds good...I am waiting on my heads to get back from AFR today then I can put my 357W back together and get her in my 67 Coupe...may be a good weekend after all!!

sounds like a hell of a setup. I just about have 500 miles on mine since putting it back together, still the aode computer but it runs until i pick up the new comp this afternoon.
