No need to go for that 3 down by 4 though.

No, there wasn't. But that takes nada away from the whole of the game. Those were two of the top 4 teams in the nation.
No need to go for that 3 down by 4 though.

Wow.
There's a little conference called the ACC. Perhaps you've heard of it. Take your pick of games, and they're all better than the Big 12. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan, but it's no where close to the ACC. Oh, and besides that, you haven't watched much basketball either if you think the UT/KU game is the best you've seen. Try the NC State cardiac pack against Houston's Phi Slamma Jamma' with Clyde and Dream. That Derek Wittenburg shot/pass to Lorenzo Charles for the dunk at the end made that the single greatest college hoops game I've ever witnessed, and believe me, I've seen a ton.

Seen em all. didnt measure up to this one. The lead changes, the offense, the electricity in the air....just friggin wow.
And as far as conferences go this year, give me the Big 12 over anything out there. UT, KU, BU, OU, K-State and the Ags all in the Big Dance, with two teams in the top 4, imho.

Arkansas vs Tennessee was a much better game than Kansas vs Texas. Why? Because nobody saw the result coming. It was a total surprise.
Kansas beating Texas was no surprise, not even to Texas fans.

It wasnt shocking, no. Then again, all it did was split the season series at 1-1. Maybe we'll have a third game i na few weeks.....

The greatest basketball games I have ever witness wereThe 1985 NCAA Championship and the 1992 East Regional Final.
In the 85 game Patrick Ewing was leading G-Town to their third NCAA final four appearance in four years and Villanova led by Ed Pinkney pulled the upset to come from being unranked at the tournaments beginning then win it all.
Christian Laettner from Duke hit a buzzer-beater to off Kentucky in stellar fashion, 104-103 in an overtime win during the East Regional Final, 1992 NCAA Tournament.
My Dad always claimed the best game ever was UNC's 54-53 win over Kansas in the 1957 NCAA championship game which included three overtimes. My Grandfather took my Dad to that game when he was 14 and he swears it was the best game ever played to this day.
