Im going with elimination in the 2nd round, however if they finish without homecourt for the playoffs then it could be a 1st round elimination. But Im leaning on a 2nd round defeat

I think they will be Champs but only if Avery cuts his hair!!

I don't know but the way the Rockets are playing right now, I think they're going all the way. They manhandled up by like 25 last week

Well if they will play like they are doing right now maybe the finals. But they are playing the heat. :o

I can't make a guess until they finish up with the JV portion of their schedule. This week will be a pretty good test. I'll wait till then to say anything

They need to beat some top ranking Western Conference teams, I don't care if they can beat the Bulls or Heat. Bring on the Lakers and lets see what they can really do

I'll tell you after this week's games....x2. And after tonight, the Mavs are tied with the Spurs in the standing. The Celts came back from 4 down in the final couple minutes to pull out a win against S.A. Now if the Mavs win tomorrow night, we can be within a half game of overtaking the Lakers. IF we can win out this week, we'll be in good position, but we need to at least take 2 out of 3.

Every Professional Team in Dallas (exception Rangers) went one and out last year.
Dallas Cowboys - one and out
Dallas Stars - First Round out
Dallas Mavericks - #1 Seed First Round Out
Dallas Desperados - #1 Seed One and Out

This year isn't any better -
Dallas Cowboys - #1 Seed one and out

Anyone else notice all this has happened after the Dallas Morning News announced the parade plans for the Mavericks after they won two games in the finals?

I'm sorry, that's just too much to be a coincidence. It's fucking scary.

Before answering this yall would know that dallas is 26-4 in conference play right? 2nd best in the west.

You forgot to mention the PATHETIC road record!!!
Since they will likely be the lower seed in the playoffs!!

That would be 26-12, just for the record.... but still the 2nd best in the conference....2nd best home record as well....

the road record worries me and im by no means on the bandwagon thinking they will win it all but i think they are holding back to an extent. They whooped ass and took names last year and it did nothing for them.

I'll withhold judgment until closer to the playoffs. They are still gelling and we'll see what they're made of over the next few weeks with some of the tests they have coming up.

tonight is one of them, Thur is another.

Judging by this game, they could miss the playoffs entirely.

the mavs got owned by the Lakers, even with their late comeback. Dallas shouldve won with Pau Gasol being out. The Mavs are in touble, the havent beaten a good team since February 12th against the Orlando Magic.

As crazy as this season has been, no telling who's going to be still standing a the end. Look how crazy the west has been?? The number 1 seed doesn't really mean much right now.
