I am looking forward to this fight. I know Penn has trouble with the gas tank, but I think he is going to give Sherk a hard tiime!! If Sherk gets the take down I bet it doesnt come until round three. On a side note I am excited about Ace returning to the octagon. I think he needs to go back and train with Pat.

I think the only way Sherk wins is if BJ gasses. I don't think he will though. He looked in WAY better shape against Stevenson. Sherk won't finish the fight, if he can lay on BJ for 25 mintutes he can get the decision but I doubt he can hold BJ down for 5 rounds. The last time Sherk finished a fight was 2005.

You never know what could happen though. I say BJ wins and it doesn't go to the 4th round.

You can't beat BJ Penn when hes mad...ask Jens Pulver. Penn will sub Sherk probably 1st or 2nd round

WTF??

Yeah go train with Pat for a world champ jiu jitsu guy. Good idea!

How well are Pats guys doing btw?

All i am saying is he hasn't looked great since he stopped training with Pat, and I dont think he needs to work on his stand up. He needs to work on his takedown skills so he can Ground and Pound Silva. However you are right Pats boys arent doing so well, and if Rich wants to toy with Andersons clinch then he should train with Couture!! :D

Agreed, the Miletich camp has been pretty weak lately.

Hell Matt Hughes and Robby Lawler, are actually "Team Hughes" now, not sure their affiliation with the Miletich camp anymore.

When did he stop training with Miletich and stop "looking great"?

And honestly, does anyone want to see Silva wreck Franklin again?

BJ PENN all the way, the only way sherk will win if he's all steroid out...

If it goes past the 2nd round I think Sherk will pull it off. It is hard to say with Penn. I think he doesn't have the cardio to keep up with Sherk in the later rounds. I am not saying this just because of the Hughes fight either (I know he was said to have injured his ribs). If you look at his fight with GSP he gassed in the third. Even the fight with Stevenson he looked as if he was going to pass out from exhaustion after the fight. Penn has the skills to ko or sub Sherk, but IMO he is going to have to do it in the first two rounds.

i dont think penn will gas, he's looked to be in great shape the last two fights. i say bj by ko early. as soon as sherk goes for a takedown i say bj finishes him, since unlike hermes, bj can finish up on a knee to the head on a takedown attempt

I'll have to go with BJ PENN
Penn by submission in the early second.
