Yeah....headed to Seattle . I heard it a couple weeks ago from a good friend that was his college roommate.

they signed JJ and Duckett in the last month or so.....I'd say Shaun is on his way out.

I thought they signed him last week? Everyone was reporting that he was gone late last week....

good fucking riddance. Waste of a pick, IMO. I don't know WTF Parcells was thinking with that one.

He must be. I was slightly confused by the whole thing. JJ was complaining that he didn't want to stay in Dallas and be a back up. Then Seattle signed him to be a back up under Alexander?

Hes reportedly been on the trading block since the season ended. Seattle didnt sign JJ to be a backup, do you serious think they would sign a backup to more money then the "starter" makes.

That's why I was confused. I still haven't heard anything about Alexander being released. Then again, I don't keep up with most of the NFC West teams.

I really don't see JJ starting over Alexander, if Alexander isn't released though.

Edited because I'm apparently still half asleep.

Since when did Seattle become an AFC team?

edit: oh, and thank god. the less notre dame alumni on the cowboys, the better.

They likely wont release Shaun, they'll likely trade him. It's obvious he's gone though as they have 3 decent backs to fill his spot now. I'd assume JJ would be the starter and Morris/Duckett on short yardage/3rd downs etc.

It's still early, and I'm in a hurry. NFC West. Pardon me. :o

Best move they've made lately, he was a waste.

Yep. He was fucking GREAT if he had an open field, though. I'll at least give him that. But as others have said, 90% of the time was spent running in to a pile and falling over.

Anyone that can run fast is good in an "open field." All of the work to get to the open field is what counts.

He ran the way Emmitt did late in his career. It seemed like all it took was a little touch by the opposing lineman and he was down. Good riddance!

the Great Tuna picked him up over Stephen Jackson! JJ is a never was type player. Glad to see him gone, but wish we would have done something smarter with our draft pick.
