How are they co-champs. I know Texas and Kansas had the same conference record but doesnt Texas have the tie breaker? :confused:

The Big XII doesnt recognize tie breakers, other than in seeding for the tournament. It's strictly based on record.

So, why is there a Big XII Tournament?


And does the Big XII just have crap load of those trophies in a closet somewhere? Didn't they present the trophies to t.u and k.u. on the same night?

Cuz that's how basketball works. Same reason every high school district in the nation has a post season tourney.

I believe KU got their's after the Ag game, but Im not sure.

So, why is there a Big XII Tournament?

Well, what I'm saying is why have a tourney if they crown a champion from the season? Why don't they crown a North and South champ (which they kind of did this year unknowingly) and then a Conference Champ from the tourney?

Of course, since when has college sports made sense? Duh, what was I thinking. :cool:

unlike the BCS I like the March Madness tournament. The BCS always has a team that dosent deserve to be in it, and always a team that does deserve to get in but dosent. The March Madness is a great system in my mind cause you have to win I think 4 games to be crowned a champion.
