Fistric actually has a lot of potential. I wouldn't write off a player less than 30 games into his career, especially a defenseman.

I don't see many of the younger guys ditching the visor. Kind of goes to what we talked about last Friday night. AHL and down has to wear them, plus as of 01 all junior leagues were forced to wear them.

There are plenty of players in every pro league that don't really have the skill to be there, just saying.

A lot of it comes down to their system play. They are one of the few teams that are all out attack on the forecheck regardless of situation and the players that they have fit perfectly into that philosophy. Add that to the injuries on defense, namely Zubov, and you are relegated to young dmen that do not react to the pressure. One thing I thought was somewhat funny, people where up in arms about losing Smith but said nothing when the Stars let Ellis walk for nothing only to have him post some good games against Dallas.

Depends. I am using a RM19 shaft and blade. Most of the guys are using either RM19 one pieces or 9950 wood sticks

WTF was Ott gonna do in this game anyway? He's a fringe NHL player. I would have liked to see Connor/Petersen in this game instead of Winchester/Barch. Stars needed more speed than forecheck. The gaffes by the D didn't help either. Still the Stars fared pretty well against a team that gives them fits.
