Guys, I have already looked on the for sale forums ........ but just want to put the word out. My Boss is looking for a bike 750 or bigger. He has up to 4K to spend. Put the word out please if you guys know of anybody selling a decent bike. He is about 6 foot or slightly taller and about 240 or so. Please no offers of 600's

He's going to need more than 4k for a 750 or bigger, if he wants an older one he might as well buy a newer 600. ;)

He knows that. He isnt looking for the newest baddest thing out there. He found a 99 ZX9 for 3800.00 but it sold a few days before he called. A newer 6 is still to small for him.

LOL ........ Gee so everybody that has ridden a bike is an expert now. Im sure you have factory contracts being thrown at you as well.

They are under powered for somebody his size and weight. Yall can LOL all you want to. Greg, I have seen you and a 600 is perfect for you. But not everybody is under 150 lbs. Yes I know you have a 1K and have seen your other bikes. If 600's had the power the liter bikes have, you wouldnt keep buying your 1ks.
Nay Nay you once said Hondas didnt have 1ks in the early 90's so why your LOLing I really dont know.
If you know somebody selling, cool. If not........ then why you bother with the remarks? But if it really bothered you that much, let me re-phrase it. He would be more comfortable with a bigger framed bike. Better?

first of all, Im not Greg....Im Rich. ;)

Im confused, are you looking for power or a bigger bike?

Im just saying if your comparing an older 900 to a newer 600 your pissing in the wind, the older bikes are heavier and don't make the power the newer bikes do...fuel injection is king, I dont consider anything that can run 11.0's off the show room floor with a less than average rider under powered. I can also tell you (from first hand experience) that my 1000 feels just as "small framed" as my 600...I actually feel more comfortable on my 1000. Nothing 1000cc and under has a big bike feel, if he wants a bigger feeling bike he needs a zx12, zx14, or a busa. I have a freind selling a 04 zx12 and it only has about 4k miles on it....very clean and my 06 is for sale as well $7500.00 firm. :D (shameless plug)

My bad then Rich ....... I do apologize :o . I have met you to. I was Gregs neighbor for a while. I was in love with your Trans Am before you sold it. Yes he is wanting the feel of a bigger bike. He has ridden before but its been a while. So he doesnt want anything that is to much to get back in the saddle again. Plus hes trying to stay under a budget. So an older liter is good for him. But its my boss looking not me. :)

ok guys ......... Tell me why he would want a newer 600. Remember he is about 240 lbs and a 600 would look funny under him wouldnt it? He hasnt ridden in over 6 years so Im not trying to kill him. Another thing, he wants to stay under 4 grand. So all in all, I dont think he will find a newer 6 for that price.

When he had that apartment off of Galoway. I had the garage full of bikes next to him. We bought our houses about the same time as well. Not gay at all. That was a sweet ride.

Fuel injection or carbs. Take your pick. If he wants a big bike its gonna cost him. Right now is NOT the time to buy bikes. They are all high right now.
