Looking for an IT job, maybe Help desk/desktop support, temp, perm, don't care as long as I'm working normal week day hours. Can't do weekends or 3rd shift stuff.
7 years desktop support experience in a Windows environment. No linux or Mac experience though.

Depends. I was making 22/hr at the last place, but i'm willing to take a cut. Can't go below 15/hr though.

We have 5-6 HD accounts at my location, let me check around and see if any are short-staffed.

we might be hiring soon.. although we cover 7a-7p(in 8 hour shifts)

Are you capable of handling any and all IT needs of a small business as the sole IT person? Networking, and all the rest of it?
It'd be a 8-5 for the most part. Only have to work after hours if you have to take the servers down to fix something. Because that obviously can't be done during business hours.

Justify recommendations for changes in job grading and granting of awards or bonuses for non-supervisory personnel, subject to approval by higher level officials, supervisory, or others.
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION:
Work involves planning and coordinating the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Work may also include, but is not limited to planning and scheduling the installation of new or modified hardware and operating systems and applications software; implementing security procedures and tools; resolving hardware/software interface and interoperability problems and ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of systems administration services. Work may involve managing and directing multi-disciplinary project teams comprised of technical and managerial professionals; evaluating work performance of subordinates. Justify recommendations for changes in job grading and granting of awards or bonuses for non-supervisory personnel, subject to approval by higher level officials, supervisory, or others.
This is a primarily work at home position with traveling out of state maybe 3 days a month (Texas, Oklahoma,Arkansas,Louisiana). They will pay for Laptop/Internet/Cell Phone/Home Phone/Gas(up to 45.00 a day, unless traveling than they pay $150/per diem plus all expenses). This is a government position so a background investigation is required. Pay starts off at GS10 Step 3 (I think 55k/yr)

My department has IT work in Chicago. We have about 5 people in our department there.. Only issue I see is... What kind of IT job are you going to have and say you Can Not be on-call.. I thought that was like one of the "must-have" things.
