Why the hell would you say that you don't want State Farm but haven't even received a quote from them? It's kind of like wiping your ass before you poop.... it just doesn't make sense!!

Hell, you automatically get a multi vehicle discount just by insuring your bike with them.

Give them a call, I think you will be happy!

Progressive 8 or 9 bucks a month

Back in the day state farm wanted more for a month of liability than strictly cycles (progressive underwriter) wanted for a year.

Since then I've gone through progressive's website to get insurance and currently have geico (along with my cars) as it was lower than progressive when it was time to get another bike. That was likely due to already having two vehicles on Geico at the time.

Progressive here, $98/mo for collision/comprehensive

With Geico I have Liability plus comprehensive. $65 per month. Basically it covers everything but the cost to fix the bike if you wreck it. Stolen , burned , hail, tornado or anything else is covered.

Im with progressive $18 a month for liablity, and $207 for full coverage.

If you want Liability, Geico offered me $78 for a year of coverage.

The only suggestion to consider is price vs. coverage..

if you are in a wreck what kind of parts usage and repair practices? What are they going to put back on the car?
Do they cover your aftermarket stereo equipment?
What are their glass deductibles?
Do they offer towing?
Some insurance companies incorporate a built in rental policy, others do not.

Generally, the more you use your insurance company, the more you will want to spend on the policy, if nothing else for the policy benefits.

PM me for another option. Price is good, I always buy 6mo or 1yr up front. My agent is really good. I called him about an hour ago and he was still at the office, so he submitted my revision and emailed me new cards in the 5min we were on the phone :)

I've paid $550/yr ($45.83/mo) for liability + theft + un-insured motorist (I was living near San Antonio, no one has insurance there) but my address was in a small upscale community/county. I'm sure that same coverage would be quite a bit more back in DFW.

Years ago I used Dairyland when I first started riding. More recently I used Progressive and now Geico. Geico was considerably cheaper than Progressive for the same coverage on my Blackbird and also on my CBR600F3. I think I pay 81 dollars a year for basic liability. Progressive wanted 108 dollars for the exact same coverage and they SUCK for customer service.

How'd you get that? They quoted me $219 for a year.

Is it cuz I have an R1? But then again it's only liability

full coverage on my 07 zzr 600 was 600 to 1800 a year. Dairyland was lowest (i think)farmers was highest decided to go with liability only with farmers 90 somthing a year. I have my car insurance with them too. I figured with the amount of money I am saving each month with liability only I can afford to fix the bike if I wreck it.
