Might try the airport out in Mckinney. Thats where I would practice. There is some side roads that can be empty on the weekends. that was a couple of years ago though.

Most stunter types have their own spots where they practice. They don't like to share because popularity kills the spot.

Think of it like the street races. When there was a new spot and only a handful of people knew about it the racing was good and the cops were few and far between.

Once the masses found out you got overcrowding that brought fights, drunks, drugs, guns, teens, idiots, and COPS.

Newbs ride higher speed wheelies that aren't lot friendly and more people/bikes are more likely to bring the cops. These higher speed wheelies put other riders in the lot in danger and take up "their" practice space/time. They are also more likely to crash/really get hurt. Lots of people + injuries = cops. Then the people that have been riding somewhere for months have to find a new spot.

Most stunters ride lots and not the streets. Guys who ride lots don't consider the riders riding highway wheelies on stock bikes stunters. The ignorant public does and this irritates the lot stunter guys because they get grouped in with them when bad shit happens. The lot guys who do ride the streets ride the lots A LOT more often. The lot guys are always the BP guys that have a lot of control. If you don't ride that doesn't mean shit to you, but someone that can speed up, or more importantly, slow down their wheelie is in MUCH more control than someone that needs to go 80 to maintain BP if they even can at all. While I'm sure they still go down on the streets it's generally the newb street rider that goes down on the highway and loops a wheelie.

Hell, i never fully examined the floor. It seems like decent concrete though - similar to a driveway. Just the size is x1000

Kids weaving in and out of traffic racing each other for miles down the road in their shitbox and plowing into someone isn't what any car enthusiast would consider street racing. Just as stunters don't consider the guys on stock bikes riding a 70 mph stand up with little control a stunter.

The only pics I've posted on here were 7ish years ago on a deserted back road, it's no longer deserted :(

It's where I learned to ride wheelies and do stoppies. It was nice, smooth, long, and empty.

I just moved back to the DFW area a couple weeks ago after being gone about 4yrs. Seems like EVERYWHERE has grown and finding an empty NICE area is hard to do.

I'm not talking about street racing being bad at all. I was just trying to demonstrate that there is a difference between the lot stunters and the guys riding the highway on stock bikes. I thought that those examples would simply demonstrate the difference. I incorrectly assumed that if someone rode sportbikes and posted here that my simple explanation would make the difference clear. Sure there are those who crossover in the middle, but I prefer to depend on the rule rather than the exception.
